I found the Knipex size adjustment on the cobra and pliers wrench to be horrible. They seem to agree and have copied the Stanley size adjustment ratcheting mechanism on at least this pair of cobra. Progress! Interested in people’s experience with these.

Just for info as far as i remember, Quick Set version is available for more then 10 years, at least in Europe, so maybe you can find more about them on youtube... 87 21 250 (10") and 87 21 300 (12") are model numbers for models with standard (non comfort) grips

I have a pair of quick-set Cobras. Don't care very much for it. Easier to just hold the button, for me at least.

I like the locking button of the Cobras. One thing I hate about ChannelLocks and similar is the way they like to "auto-adjust" every time I put them down and pick 'em back up.
I have the Snapon version of the cobras with the “auto adjust” feature and I prefer it over the button. It can be a bit fiddly but it lets me fit it to size faster.
The Knipex button adjust is superior for applications when you’re handling one size all day, like with conduit or something.
