Sold on the site that prides themselves on people creaming themselves to get an item called "Bag of ****"?

Honestly makes me wonder if they are clearing them out because they want to make sure they are selling 100% China ****.

I was referring to Knipex and Gearwrench using Woot to clearance their tools to make room for China ****. But hopefully they are just clearancing to make room for a newer/better lineup.

Those lineman's pliers with the comfort grip would be great I use my Kleins quite a bit at my job.

What makes you think Knipex and Gearwrench are telling Woot what to sell?

Amazon owns Woot, so I figured Amazon tells Woot what to sell. :dunno:

Most everything I buy off Woot comes directly from the manufacturer. Only about half of it comes from Amazon or Woot from what is on the return label.

Woot is only an online outlet store, it has very little say in what it gets/sells except for the manufacturers/suppliers it works with.

No wonder about 90 % of there stuff can't be shipped to Hawaii. When you write to them they don't seem to care. Its the manufacturer fault. Sometime the item can be as small as a tinny flashlight. I almost stopped looking at there site, as it can be frustrating not being able to get in on the deals.

I also picked up the linemans last week but went ahead and ordered the alligators, needle nose and combination. Was planning on getting the Cobras instead of the alligators, but thought it was a good deal. Thanks!

Knipex is a high-end German manufacturer, I doubt they are outsourcing their main product line to China.

GearWrench already makes most of their stuff in China, I think probably 75-100% of their product on Woot is China COO.

Anyone have experience with the Tekton 24330? Looks identical to the HF 3/8" torque wrench that I already have that doesn't seem to work right.

Don't have the 3/8 Tekton, but have the 1/4 one. Seems decent enough. It fell apart the first time I tried to adjust it, but that was me being stupid - I was used to my Craftsman 1/2".....

some of the items are either the same price or marginally cheaper...

the knipex except for the alligators are all solid discounts from current amazon prices.. the alligators are more expensive through woot if they are the only item purchased but if you buy 2 or more items they are marginally cheaper

i am kicking myself for not jumping on the linesmans with the crimper
