I have both sets of Knipex snap ring pliers and was impressed with the quality for the money. So I recently sold off my MAC pliers and bought some more Knipex....Aktools hooked me up. After selling the MACs and a set of SK flexable pliers, I have about 50 bucks in alll these :bounce:

Thanks guys.
AKtools takes paypal, so when I got paid for stuff I only essiantially threw out 50-60 out of pocket, I am happy. I might add a few little ones to the collection, but they take 3 or 4 weeks to get b/c they are special order.

By the way, I had never used Cobra pliers before, and I must say, they are badass.

Which style grip do you like best? (Maybe too early to ask.) I have a 10 year old set of Alligator pliers with the traditional grip and some cutters with the ergo blue and red grips. I like both but I'm growing fond of the ergo grips.

I like them about the same. Honestly the reson I got the needle nose and the bent needle nose with the red and blue handle, is because thats what they had on the site, they didnt have the bent nose in only red. Plus at Aktools its an average of like 4 or 5 bucks more. but for cobras and alligators, I like a thinnner grip for some reason, and cutters, but for the linesman I like a thicker grip.....I have no clue why....wierd I know :wtf:

They are cool, just got the a week ago maybe, about 25 bucks from SJdiscount tools. I clamped off one of the radiator hoses on my motor, and they do work great, completly automatic which is nice. I really the smaller 3/4" hose ones, I never realized these would be so huge. I think they are well worth the money, the similar mac and Snapons are around 50 bucks....and for little as I will use them I got the SK's still made in USA to.
