Knipex has just introduced a set of Orbis branded Angled pliers! Not certain if I want to bite yet; I want a set with the comfort multi-grips - hopefully they will make them.

Here is a video:

I have a few of the Orbis angled pliers with the 1000v handles, seem like decent pliers, they look funny with the dipped handles. I got an email from Knipex about these today as well.

"I have no existing need for them at this time.............." What does "need" have to do with buying more tools.

I just "might" need them. So, now I've got to add these to the wish list.

Do you have a link to buy them with high voltage handles?

I bought mine from Ash @ Germanhandtools, he had some on Ebay. I think he sold out of them, but you may try to contact him, he may be able to get more. I would possibly be interested in another pair of the comb pliers myself just in case he would have to make a larger order to get them.

I'm on the road this week, and I'll call next week. Are the high voltage handles similar in feel and design to the Knipex high-voltage?

Those hose clamp pliers look sweet. I have been trying to hunt them down for under $50, but so far not even close. I hope Knipex comes out with cable hose clamp pliers at some point, so far all those I've seen in the marketplace seem to be something short of Knipex level quality.

There is also a insulated multi purpose side cutter version.
Here next to the NWS angled pliers.

Been using a 90 deg bent pair of needle nose pliers for years now - for just that reason. So I could see where the tips are.

Yeah, got that problem too (and there are a few Knipex missing from this picture):

I love it when pics like this get posted. I get to drool over an awesome collection of quality tools while at the same time showing my wife and saying "See honey, I am not that bad after all"

Nice drawer full of red handles.

I've got the matco set, they're decent enough, but the angle certainly isn't something I can't live without.
