They are really good for air fittings. They won't replace combination wrench sets or sockets really but there are a lot of times that they are very handy. I've also used the 10:1 leverage advantage to straighten some sheet metal and it really does work for straightening / bending metal.

I would agree with all the prior comments. I purchased a 10" pair and liked them so much that I bought a 6 inch pair to carry around in my side pocket. Pricy but worth it. I would suggest Sears with points, coupons and such for the 10 inch pair. The 6 inch pair I bought through amazon I believe.

It's one of those you don't know how good it is until you own it tools. I was skeptical until I got my first pair. I have the 6" and 10" at home and work. Couldn't tell you how many guys tried them and bought their own.

Skipping a size is probably the best way to go. I bought the 7.25" and 12" pair, but some people go with the 6" and 10" combination. It's all preference.

I find they are good for times, when you do not want to scratch the finish, of what you are working on. I like them for AN fittings and brass, or nickel finishes. These are the only knipex item, that I feel is a must. The other pliers and cutters, from other brands, are just as good or better in other brands. There are worse brands too, but no one cares about that.

I've bought from Chads toolbox a couple of times and have been satisfied. It looks like they're having a sale on all of these, guess I'll order a couple of them .

They are awesome. The size depends on what you will use them for. I use mine a lot for plumbing. Check the size of your application and choose accordingly.

I concur with everybody else. Once you get a pair you'll wonder how you did anything without them. When I first saw them I thought they were kinda gimmicky, but after using them they are quite an amazing set of pliers, or adjustable wrench depending on how you look at it.

great tool , i watched an online demo and purchased some , they live up to all the claims

if i hadnt seem the demo i would pass on by thinking its just some overpriced adjustable pliers set as they do look like the generic stuff , but man do they have some power

The knipex pliers wrench is my most used tool outside of a number 2 phillips.

I have a pair and I love them. So much more portable than a whole roll of wrenches.

Thanks guy, I stumbled on this thread and thanks to all of the arm twisting, ordered the set from Chads for $129. Pretty good deal for the 7,10 and 12" pliers
I have the 10" guess I'll have two now. I do find myself using quite a bit.
Thanks for the heads up on Chads.

You might want to concider re ordering separate,,not much difference from the set. Maybe $5or $8 ... At least you could get something else besides another 10",,,maybe a micro??

I looked that over , only another $ 15 to order seperate. I may use my 10" for a road kit or may give to my son as he parts four wheelers.
Thanks for insight.

Have not bought a pair yet, but I really want to. They feel and look really nice in person, I just checked them out in Sears last weekend.
