Well I'm headed back yo Lowes to pick up some as soon as I get the ole bean check cashed.I have a Lowes card but I would get in big trouble if I used it for something like that. Its a company card and the boss is really **** even if you pay for the stuff you put on it.Can't blame him though.

They don't stock it in the regular tool aisles. As mentioned, you have to run through the electrical section and look for the small stash of tools within that aisle. You'll find it near the multimeters and other stuff.

Prices are alright...definitely lower than they have been for a while, but they have been lower than that at Lowes before. Plus, you can usually find online vendors that are lower still than a lot of the Lowes listings.

The automatic insulation strippers do seem like a legit deal at that price.

Thanks for the heads up.

The electrical tools sections have some good tools ..

Lowes keeps their Channel locks and Knipex products there and Home depot keeps their Klein tools products there.

One of the 3 lowes by me got most the knipex clean out. Only couple pieces left. You can also check sears. They are the same price.

Hello...I work for Knipex
Lowe's is not dropping Knipex. Just lowering the prices to be more competitive.

If you look closely at the sticker, it says "NEW LOWER PRICE" as in its not clearanced but will be that price from now on. They use the same color stickers for clearance items, so its easily confused :)

i asked an associate at lowes about that, they said that those "new lower price" tags are not clearanced items, and are actual new prices.

this includes the 1/4 socket sets, 3/8socket sets, knipex stuff, some of the wrenches, etc...

seems hard to believe they would go from $20+ bucks for a socket set, and change it to $4.97

I managed to snag a pair of Knipex cutters for less than I otherwise would have had to pay. Not exactly stellar pricing, but still about 20% off I think from the usual price, so I was happy. Kudos to the OP, you've helped feed the Knipex addiction for another day.
