You're right, my bad. I somehow ended up on the wrong page and then searched the wrong product number.

I think you're right as I found out the hard way (sort of). Some of the new version are actually really good upgrades and for me I'm finding that some of the new pliers more useful and prefer having.

I'm starting to sit out the deals with the old models if the new ones have been given desirable upgrades. Go to Knipex USA site and look at the newest version of the deal you're about to jump and decide.
Some like these cutters, its doesn't matter; like this awesome pair, especially for the price that mimidood posted.
