I will be testing the Knipex warranty with this broken pliers wrench, it broke surprisingly while removing a fastener well within its range.
So far, I've reached out to Knipex by phone, then was told to email them a picture of the broken tool. I have received a return authorization but I believe it is still subject to their inspection which require me to mail it to them at my expense.
Hopefully it passes their inspection, I'll keep you posted.
In the past I have received warranty on (2) Cobra pliers which didn't require me to send the tool, not sure why they are requesting the pliers wrench...
Do yo think this should be warrantied?
