These are a little overkill for oil filters. you can get all 3 sizes of the channelock oil filter pliers for less than these cost

Pass. I helped dad with some house plumbing over christmas. After 2 minutes of using channellocks I was ready to toss the things out the f'ing window. I quickly remembered why I pay more for Knipex pliers.

You buy them, find that they're too big for your toolbox and then you buy a bigger toolbox.
