Have no idea what it's called.


Basically I'm looking for a long impact extension 15-18" that has the socket forged right onto the extension.

Yeah and I need SAE. That's what I'm looking for though.


I thought I'd seen some really long ones made by Hilti

Do you only want certain sizes or are you looking for a whole set? Also, what drive size?

1/2 socket.


The drive size doesn't matter. I can make any drive size work.

What are you afraid of dropping a socket into?

Is it a job you will do a lot or once off and into the bottom drawer until your estate sale?

Once off just weld up some HF stuff. Regular use get better stuff to weld, or get the locking extension idea in action.

Seems pretty simple anyway.

Unless you simply don't have a welder, this would likely be the cheapest option.
