We received this proposal, in confidence, from an installer here in NJ.
I thought you might like to see what some folks consider prep. Keep in mind the existing floor has a peely coat of deck paint on it.

Plenty of hacks all over...bottom line, don't get a painter to do an epoxy contractors job. It's like hiring a plumber to frame your house ;p

Painters! They used to drive me crazy. "Clean, degrease, light sand and recoat". They do not drive vehicles up walls, but they do on floors.
