I have some PROTOs that are nice. pretty rough knurling compared to some, good for oily/greasy hands.

I likey. Will have to look into Ko-Ken and Matco... Meanwhile, many years ago I worked with a fellow tech that shrunk 'rubber' type heat-shrink tubing around both the female end and center shank on his 1/4" and 3/8" socket extensions. This was an older guy who was a go-to tech when things got tricky. IIRC, he was experiencing early arthritis symptoms.

Wow! Why didn't I think of that. I have all kinds of heat shrink. This quest came about because of trying to get a hard to reach bolt back in. I could only get a fingertip on the extension. Even with a low back-drag ratchet, it was a real pain keeping enough friction on the extension to make progress.

I'm going to try the heat-shrink. Also, I've liked my SK knurled rounded/wobble extensions. Sometimes the wobble is a pain, but it's usually helpful.

The knurled Ko-Ken extensions are a winner-winner chicken dinner in my book  I even like them more than my knurled MAC extensions and I never thought I would never say that :wtf:
I find the knurling on the current MATCO knurled extension to be too shallow and hardly noticeable but, that's just me.

Not knurled but, sonic tools has extensions that are knurled on the shaft but, are hex shaped around the square drive end making them quite handy for finger spinning or using with a wrench.

Looks like you wanted Koken all along so not sure why you were asking originally.

Was looking for a more economical and easier to obtain alternative to Ko-ken that had similar style knurling. There doesn't seem to be one, so Ko-ken it is.
