Home depot has a husky 230 pc set for 99. I'd hold off on any of these sets because last year I was able to get the husky 235 pc set for 49 after black friday. 80 sounds like a deal, but trust me they will go cheaper if you wait. I still see people selling them on ebay for 150-200. They make good beater sets thats for sure.

Lowe's has some pretty good sales now. I was there last night and picked up a set of socket holders (plastic) for $5. It comes with 3 plastic trays and goes up to 25mm. I noticed the SAE ones were $20.

Also, they have a 106 piece drill accesory kit for $19 -- normally $39. Kobalt brand.

I just went and got one..... Not bad. A bit of 12 and 6 point redundancy.......but decent set for the price. It gives me some tools at home. I had nothing at home before. Now I can at least change a lawnmower blade or spark plug.I did not try a coupon code. It was close to closing time and the deal was decent enough.

Stores around me after X-mas, they discounted the 235 pcs set in this order: $89, $79,$69 USD. When it got to $69 USD, I had to buy since there were only a few left.

For the price, I use it as a "borrow a tool" set and when I go to the junk yard.

Kobalt has chinese sets. This might be one of them. Haven't checked the details.

I don't like a lot of the kobalt china hand tools (sockets wrenches) look cheesy to me...look worse than the husky chinese tools. Might be the same provider but still.

I just looked, this set is Taiwan. I went back today for something else.....all the sets in my local store were Taiwan.

Use the 10%... still a good deal at $90. I have two of these from previous BFs. Keep one in the storage unit, great to have around. Sockets/ratchets are really nice quality. No China Kobalt in that kit for sockets/ratchets.

haha so get this I bought the set go to put the tools away turns out they put two bags of 3/8 short sockets in my kit and no 1/2 drive sockets. gonna go there tomorrow hopefully thy still have them and I guess I need to put all the pieces into the kit there to make sure this doesnt happen again!!!
