I don't have that particular saw but I have several 24v tools and have been very pleased with them. You are going to get comments about the Kobalt 24v line being discontinued, that is false. I have spoke to Kobalt and their 24v line is expanding. The saw you are asking about looks to be very handy and I wouldn't expect it to be any less quality than their other tools. I believe there is a 1 year satisfaction guarantee in addition to the 5 year warranty. Try one out and if it doesn't work out for you, return it. The Kobalt 24v line is made by Chervon for Kobalt.
