kobalt 27" black intermediate 3 drawer chest

I was at Lowes tonight.I had to pick up some electrical outlets so I browsed through their tool box aisle.They had a 27" 3 drawer black chest marked down to $98.It had some scratches and a small dent in the side.I asked to speak with a manager and said he could do 75 on it.I let him know I was going to pass at that price due to the scarches and the dent and also missing the keys.As I was walking away he asked what I would pay and I replied $40.He agreed and said he could have another set of keys sent to me at tno charge.

I brought it home and slid it on the bottom of HF 4 drawer cart.Now I have some extra storage space until I can get me a 44" chest from HF.I don't think I done to bad tonight.It matches my cart pretty good.

I like it so far.My only complaint is the drawers aren't as smooth is the ones on my cart but it does the job.I already have it filled up and still need more space lol

You have the HF 4 drawer correct? How is that? How would you compare it from the HF 5 drawer if you've actually played with it? I do have the coupon for both.. but then again it is like about a $70 difference..

Yes I have the 4 Drawer.I wish I would have got the 5 drawer though due to fact it is bigger.I looked at both of them in store and as far as quality goes I would say they are on par with each other.The 5 drawer is a little wider and deeper and has more space in it.I would not hesitate to buy another 4 drawer though they are built very well and well worth the $99 I paid for it.The 5 drawer is well worth the $149 with the coupon.
