I stopped in 2 different Lowe's today in my daily travels, looking to see what prices that the Task Force Hose reels were going for around here. If I found a store near here that had them marked down to $29, I was going to buy a few. I see that the body was mainly plastic.
Even though they did not have any marked below $49 (they did say that they would match other stores pricing...so i will go back after I print out the pricing from the #1060 store) I ran across a 3/8" Kobalt Reversible Keyless Chuck air drill marked way down to $19.99.
It even comes with a additional side handle for more control.
Specs are; 90 psi air pressure
4 C.F.M. Air Consumption
2,200 R.P.M. free speed
1/4" in. N.P.T. air Inlet
Its got a nice grip, good weight and looks to be built well.
I've never used any Kobalt air tools before, but for a total cost of $21.54 out the door...I couldn't pass it up.

I think that the store code is #2316 in Elgin, Illinois.

If anybody else has used this Air drill, please feel free to throw out your thoughts about it.

Cool! One store had 1 left with a damaged box, the other store had 1 left with a completely sealed box. I only saw what was sticking out of the damaged one.

I'm glad to hear that it is mostly steel...I printed out the add from the Charlette NC store, so I will hit at least one store tomorrow.

Thanks Rickairmedic, and I do love this Site!!!

ive started using a lot of cobalt tools and have had no problems with them or the task force products. I have most of my better tools on snapon or craftsman but have been stocking up on more and more of the lowes brand.
Im in the Air Force and they often offer a Military discount and have crazy sales too.. I am even considering getting rid of my craftsman rollaway for a kobalt stainless one.

I stopped in to Lowes today with a On-Line print out and walked away with a Task Force 50' Hose Reel for the "out the door" Price of $25.79. (140418)

The Kobalt Air Drill was Item Number 232165
But have not seen another at any of the last 3 stores that I have visited.
