Lowe's is like that. It's not you. With them you have to post the item number for people to find it. Some just post a pic of the yellow tag.

Actually link worked for me the first time. After that it didn't.

I brought home both the 227 pc w/case and this 300 pc set.

Looking @ the origin on both, the 227 pc set is made in Taiwan while the 300 pc set is China.

Comparing both, I can say that the fit/finish on the sockets is pretty much the same....with perhaps a slight nod to the 300 pc set (China) on the rachets.

I'll be keeping this set (300 pc) as it has a better selection of sockets and I don't need a case

103. beans plus another 10 points off for military is a killer deal for this set IMHO

Both 6 and 12pt sizes. Also, read the reviews on the lowes site. Some indicate it is not complete and no large sizes included. Made in China. The wrenches aren't that great. I have no need for 12pt sockets, allen wrenches, and some other misc things included, so not worth it for me. Might be a decent starter set for someone.

Dang that stinks I just got the set didn't know the price was that low. $129 on the website every store in my area. must have been a pre-Christmas deal I missed the boat on :-(
