Looks like they've gone down in price again. Was just at a different Lowe's and they still had them marked down to the $8-9 price. $10 for a complete set is a no brainer IMO.

Are those the older injection molded type like hansens or the newer vaccume formed ones?

I'm guessing the vacuum form ones because the sticks don't seem to be as skinny as my Hanson's

I wish I would have seen this when I was there today - don't need any more as I have the HF ones, but I have to check them out anyway!

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to pick a set of each up for my impact sockets.

I have had these not work for impacts specifically grey pneumatic 3/8" and wright 3/8" the problem is the socket base is just too large for the spacing between posts especially for the smaller sizes. they did accommodate 1/4" metric grey pneumatics fine

Saw these in store after I had seen this posted, same price here. I was tempted to buy them, but I have no real need. Great price!

I really don't like my HF ones b/c the steel detent balls keep popping out of the square nubs. Maybe these Kobalt ones are a better option...

I picked up a set of each last night. I like the red/blue, but I'm not really sold on the peg arrangement vs. my HF trays. The HF trays have enough space between the shallow and deep rows of pegs to store off size sockets, duplicates, adapters, u-joints, etc. The Kobalt trays don't seem to have that much extra space between the rows of pegs. And they are about the same footprint, so you aren't saving drawer space with the Kobalt's either.

These hit slickdeals tonight If you want them get them soon! All the ebayers will be snagging them up and you'll see them on eBay or at the flea market for 2-3x the cost.

The online price is the $4.98. I needed some cabinet hardware so between the clearance hardware I ordered for $0.83 each and the socket trays, I ordred just a hair over $50 and got free shipping to my house. Pretty hard to beat that.

Picked up a set of each today and my Williams Kobalt 3/8 impacts thankfully fit just fine.
Five bucks a set is a steal!

Not sure why the metric was marked down even more, but I picked one up to put my impacts on.

Lowe's in Concord, CA, had plenty of stock at $5, not the even cheaper $2 price.
They had one individual tray of the original Taiwanese variety, which is different from the 3 piece Chinese made sets. Apart from the Chinese ones having lower height spikes, they do not appear any worse in quality. They look injection moulded, as they've got ejector pin marks on the back.

I grabbed a set of each, so should be good for the rest of my life now.

Still here in vegas too @ $5 for the set of 3 ( 1/4- 3/8th- 1/2)
Bought both SAE & Metric for me, and a set for a buddy.
These are much better than the taller $2 ones (singles), those dont fit in my drawers standing up.
The sets of three are perfect heres my 1/4 & 3/8th going together. Also figured out i lost a bunch somewhere hrmmmm.

These things are awesome. I would take these over hansens, even at the same price.

Hansens have the long and short pegs, so you have to put shallow and deep on the same tray. I fill one tray with all deep, and another with all shallow. This keeps my shallow sockets from tying up a deep drawer.
