Kobalt 41” Tool-chest/box combo $498

Anyone here have input on this? Good toolbox? The Lowe’s near me has them for $498. (Regular $798).

Online the black version is also $498. I’m not in market but don’t want to pass up a good deal either...sale runs through 1/31/20

Harbor Freight is a better deal in my opinion......unless you really need the deep top. Wish the drawers were white as well.

My plan has always been to buy the $499 HF 44" cabinet (14000 cu inch) and the $299 tool chest (11700 cu inch) - total cu in 25,700. This Kobalt combo claims to have 39319 - Seems inflated based on size. Am I interpreting wrong?

I do see the HF combo weighs almost 200 lbs more than the Kobalt combo and weight capacity is 2600 lbs vs the Kobalt at 1200. Very telling considering the advertised sizes (cu in).

Saw these the other day. Nice light duty box, if the odd drawer layout works for you it seems like a good value.

If you have large sets of socket, wrenches etc. you need extra depth.
