Kobalt Overhead Storage?

Anyone have one of these? Kobalt 48-in x 60-in Metal Overhead Storage Kit

Thinking of putting some of these over my garage doors. Wondering if anyone has opinions on them. Did a quick search and didn't find anything.

I dont have those but built two overhead storage units from angle iron with a 3/4" plywood base and each is 4'x8' and about 2' from the ceiling. I built them myself as I wanted to get the most amount of space possible above my doors nd I would have had to buy a bunch of these type of units. I have a 2 car garage with 9' ceilings so every little space counts. These types of storage units are great. The Kobalt one looks well built with multiple connection points to the ceiling rafters.

Those seem pretty pricey. Check out a brand called Hyloft.

I haven’t used them but that normally wasted space is where I put long seasonal stuff like pool and snow equipment.

Extension ladders fit well also.

Looked up Hyloft. Home Depot carries that brand. For a 45" x 60", they want $120. Lowe's is $129 for 48" x 60". Not that far off. However, HD has a 45x45 for $55. Looks like maybe two of the 45x45's is the way to go. Thanks for that suggestion.

I purchased a 4' x 6' rivet rack off CL for $65.00 and it had enough material to make three shelves like this in my old garage.

This was with one of the three installed.

I just saw one of those kobalt brand shelves in my neighbors garage Saturday night.

Seemed pretty nice...i didnt realize Kobalt even made those till i saw the sticker on it.
