Kobalt power tool cabinet

Been looking at this for the last year, and finally went to pull the trigger for my dad for Christmas…and it's no longer sold.

Are there any good prefab alternatives?

The wooden one on Amazon has great reviews, and seems like it could be a worthwhile investment -- with that said, I only need the tool hanging aspect, so my garage may go the cut PVC route that others have taken.

Spent hours searching myself. I would like one. Cant bring myself to pay for the wood one. Thinking about making one which would be a slight reach but very doable.

Easy to make and then you can alter the size to your needs. Also, it gives you an excuse to buy a Kreg jig kit.

wood one is nice, but more expensive and less aesthetically pleasing. bummer.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did. After all the Kobalt accessories (cup holder, USB power strip, drill holder) went on clearance last summer, they were immediately replaced with identical Craftsman versions. I had assumed the charging station would follow as well.

I like it, a lot actually. But I'll make do with storing my power tools in the Craftsman canopies I mounted above a workbench.

I wanted one too, was going to pick one up this year and was disappointed. I think it might be a victim of the toolbox tariffs. Now I'm just going to make my own out of wood.

Nah, it's been discontinued for quite some time now. I got mine at least 6 months ago and it was the last one in the area. I actually had to buy the store display.

you could always make one. I built this a few weeks ago...mine is for air nailers but cordless drills fit just the same. plans were in a recent wood magazine.
