Kobalt socket tray questions

I just ordered the 3/8 51 piece sunex impact socket set that goes from 7-22mm. I'm currently using hansen & hf trays. I like that you can see the size but they only go up to 20mm so I've been looking at new options. I'm interested in the westling tray. If I do that I'd still have another tray. Thinking going with the kobalt tray would give me some additional space in my service cart. Does anyone have experience with this or opinions on these different storage systems? Also can more 3/8 clips be ordered? That one would be a deal breaker.

I have that tray. I am using it in my main box for my extra sockets.
I did not like it in my cart because it took up to much space. I went with magnetic rails in my cart to get the most use of the room I had.

You can get the extra clips from Sears that will fit it. I did that.

I would post some pictures of it in use, and the room it takes, but, it is in Tennessee, and I am in Fairbanks, Alaska at this time.

If you're referring to the red Kobalt tray I have used the HF clips ( from the 3 piece set that goes for about $4 ) on it with no problems...the Sears clips are too much $ for I believe just 5 clips.

I've got 8 of the Kobalt trays in my box and I like them just fine. Easy to mix and match clips to suit your organizing needs.

As others have mentioned, many other clips interchange. I have used both Sears and Harbor Freight. Hf works fine, but the Sears ones are better quality.

Sounds like there are a few options. I was actually thinking about taking one of my hf clips to lowes & checking if they fit. I can also get anything from napa delivered to the shop at 10% over cost. Think I'll give them a shot & swap them with trays from my main box if I don't like them.
