Kobalt Sockets $8 & $10

This was the deal at my local Lowe's. I just checked the ad online, and they are showing the same prices.

11 piece set, $10 for deep sockets, regular socket 11piece set $8.

Even if you don't like Kobalt, that is a pretty decent price for a truck set, or a set of loaners, or some for the kids...

But I was looking for some 3/8" drive deep impacts at lowes, did not see a one.
Had short ones, but no deep.

May go back and get an SAE tomorrow.

There is also a 1/2" Ratchet & Socket combo with both SAE & Metric sockets (12pt) for $19.97. The ratchet alone normally sells for well over $20.

And? I probably have at least 2 or 3 sets of each, but at $5 for a set of sockets, you can be sure I bought more. You can NEVER have too many sets of sockets even if only for loss back ups.

The soft-sided case Kobalt set is on sale now as well, still a bit high but I'm going to pick one up for the boat as the soft-sided stuff seems to store/ride easier.

$59.97 reg $99.97. Again, not a steal but a decent price.

Just depends on how many slots you have to fill. I still need to pick up a couple of complete my set.

They have a very nice fit/finish to them, I've used mine and they all had pretty good contact areas too.

Disclaimer: I'm a big Kobalt fan for the price when they have sales like these.

I just went and bought some of these. Got both sets of deep, both of short, and both of the 1/4 inchers. Out the door for $49 and I have a complete set for my pickup and no gaps!

They also had 11 piece wrench sets sae and metric for $19 each. Are these wrenches any good and is that a good deal for them? Thanks for the heds up on the socket sale OP!

My Lowe's also had dual-sided socket rails on sale fonir $4.97. They are a metal rail with plastic holders, part number 0338546: I figured since everyone was buying sockets...

My lowes has the 1/4" and 1/2" raise down at $5 but the 3/8 is still $10. I thought they all were down and grabbed a 3/8. They 3/8 weren't but they gave it to me for $5 anyway.

PIcked up a 1/4 drive metric short socket set for $4.97 Sat here in Albuquerque. No deep socket sets or SAE short sets. But for $5 it gives me an extra set of metric small sockets.
