Hello everyone,
I go by Kobaltic on the internet. Just made up a name (based off of cobalt amplifiers) and in the same year as Kobalt tools (no relation). I am from eastern PA. I hate cars. No really I do. But I am always broke so I always end up fixing them myself.
I found a garage not being used. So I decided to rent it and to strip cars and sell the parts. I figured I don't have to worry about ruining someone's car or worry about actually fixing them.
So my adventure is starting in the garage. I had to buy an air compressor. It was rough getting the forklift in the garage. The floor has a pit to collect fluid. It was fun trying to drive around it. Then figure out the air hose outlet size (because someone thought why not have a 3/8 and a 1/2 inch outlet). Then I had to hard wire a 240 volt 50 amp line to the compressor. Almost every air line connection was leaking. The lift takes 5 minutes to lift the car 1 foot and 30 minutes to bring it back down. Everything is stuck and rusted. On the bright side, I got my first car so I hope to make some money soon.
