Anyone have Kodiak bits? Their stuff looks nice, and maybe a bit cheaper than norseman. Can't find much in the way of reviews but they seem to have a pretty complete line all made in USA.

Thanks

I know it an old post but I would like an answer. Kodiak was established in 2011 and sells mostly online and at Home Depot. According to Manta, their LLC has 5 employees. If you google earth their listed address, it is in the Winkworth Professional building which appears to contain 4 offices. Their website "About" column states nothing about their factory location, their founding Officers, or their current officers. Their products look nice, but so do Grizzly and Harbor Freight cutting tools. They make numerous claims to be made in USA. If so, they must be the products from another USA manufacturer of cutting tools that have been re-branded.

They are ****!!! I purchased these bits for $196 in 2017. I have drilled hundreds of holes in metal with a hand held drill before and I purchased these bits because they were USA made and I was building the tractor gizmo in my profile picture. I bent the 11/16" bit during the second use. I was so pissed I couldn't see straight for a week. I provided theh 1-star review still shown on the Amazon website. These bits now live in the wood shop, but rarely get used. I purchased a set of Norseman that I am thrilled with.

I have used their end mills, carbide burrs, taps & 12" aircraft extension drill bits. Always ordered straight from their website & have been happy with them. I never ordered a set of anything from them, just singles as needed. I switched to drills and cutters dot com due to pricing.

I have used a lot of their carbide endmills, HSS taps, and HSS chucking reamers. Never any quality issues. Everything has been on size, well finished, and sharp. All marked USA on the tooling. I too always ordered direct from the website in singles. Never tried their drill bits, have always gone with Norseman or CTD for those.
