Koken 2749P-1/4HF and 2774P-1/4HR compatible bits

Good day,

I received my bit ratchets this afternoon and I was checking compatibility with my existing bits. I got the red bit stuck due to the shoulders on the bit. Luckily with a small jewelers screwdriver I was able to move the metal retainer ring (spring) to release.

I was wondering which brand of bits you would recommend (other than the stubby one in my pic) that works fine.

This bit ratchet is designed to accept C6 1/4" Bits – the standard you want to search for is DIN 3126 C6.3 / ISO 1173 C6.3

The bits will look like this where the measurement from the base to the 'indent' is 8mm.

As an unwritten rule, never use power shank bits in any bit holder with C-ring retention.

I have both the 2774 and 2749. All bits I use fit and work fine. I just got both in the last couple months though and haven't really used them other than fitting bits and checking out the ratcheting mech, but they seem fantastic.
