If there is any threads about these out there I couldn’t find them. Anyone have any info on these? Actually made in Japan by Koken or rebranded? How do they compare to the turbo sockets that seem to be rebranded by every manufacturer here in the US?

I don't have the set linked. I have a couple of the 1/2 drive deep versions in 19 & 21 mm (22mm is back ordered) for use on damaged lug nuts.
Made by Ko-Ken in Japan. Not a rebrand. In fact I don't think Ko-Ken rebrands anything except for possibly their socket rails. I like the nuttwister sockets I have. They have thin walls, and on the square drive end, there's a lead in cut out for drive tool ball.

As far as I am aware all of Ko-Ken's socketry is made by them in house.
How ever other items over the years such as Screw drivers, Spanners (Wrenches), and Pliers are often out sourced to other manufacturers. Some times even outside of Japan.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered a 3/8 drive set, 8 to 16mm, and a Williams 15mm because it was skipped in the Koken set. I will get to compare them when they arrive. I’m assuming the Williams is a rebranded turbo socket.
