do the sockets in the 3285za - the extra short ones - work on a 'normal' ratchet or do they rely on something special in the koken? specifically, the 'ball holding groove' described on p2 of that pdf.

I also like the look of these. Price is definitely the factor (assuming absolute quality) that will determine their success.

They are first class. I use and buy only quality tools. Koken is a small conservative company and they make great products.
