Which drawer do you guys use for sockets?
Better still, which tools do you place in which drawers?
Even better, (maybe), can you direct me to a KR 1000 tool box tour video?

I used the wide bank drawers for sockets, 2nd from the bottom was 1/2 drive, 3rd from bottom was 3/8 drive. 1/4 drive was in one of the upper narrow bank drawers (2nd from the top, IIRC). This worked out fine for me as both drawers were full.

I had/have a top box for pliers screwdriver and other stuff. I upgraded to a KRL1023 but still use a similar arrangement with it.

The other wide bank drawers were as follows;
#1 inch wrenches
#2 metric wrenches
#3 misc wrenches/extra wrenches
#4 electrical tools (any and all)
#5 hammers, prybars, striking tools
#6 3/8 drive tools
#7 1/2 drive tools
#8 large wrenches and 3/4 drive tools

Narrow bank was as follows;
#1 papers, misc. ****
#2 1/4 drive tools
#3 hex keys & sets
#4 measuring tools, tapes levels squares, ete.
#5 lights, misc stuff, hacksaw, wire brush, ete.
#6 homemade tools, pump tools, bushing drivers, pullers.
#7 varied at times, had air tools then shop supplies then battery tools.

Here's the reason for my request. I picked up a repainted KR1000 for $250. Took the drawers out, wiped out the carcass, and reworked all slides to smooth operation. It is sitting in my small shop ready to be loaded. I have pics on my computer and on my phone, but do not know how to provide a URL location for viewing. Trust me it's a beast, and just about my best purchase I could have made, even with the dull grey primer repaint.
