KR-562 owners need your HELP!

So I received a 562A produced in 81 in pretty decent shape for free from the head mechanic at the shop. I've already removed all rails, ordered replacements for free but snap on was being a bit stingy on replacing all 13 sets so I got 9 sets and I'll refurbish the old ones. Replacement end caps for the handle have yet to be ordered(non snapon generic end caps). I've straightened the inside dividers and any other bends and dents the best I could. The corner trim removed and will be sent off to a local shop for reproduction. So my question before sending off to sandblast and powder coat is this:

Does anyone have a 562 in any other color? I was thinking glossy black or flat black

Can some one send me detailed close ups of chrome drawer trim? Specifically the ends and how they attach?

Since the metal shop has a minimum order I might as well get the handle trim done.

btw, Softailgarage just restored one so he could answer some of your technical questions. Personally, I think gloss black would look better than flat black. You may want to also consider extreme green, electric orange, and blue as well.

A bit late, but I have one in "low gloss" black. It was in bad shape when I got it and I needed it for work quickly. So I repaired the slides, sanded and painted it flat black. It looked awful. Almost scraped the project. But, decided to give it a coat of the "low gloss" black and looked much better. I never put the corners back on. Also for the drawer pulls, I resanded to bare metal and gave them two coats of a red color bare metal clear coat. It's not perfect but I'll never sell it. I call it my "rat box".
