Guys I have a kr-761 and it does not have the lockandroll latches and the top drawer is not staying closed unless I lock the whole box which is kinda a pain. What do you guys do/use to keep your drawers closed on the older SO boxes with out the latches? And would a krl-791 top box fit on this box? Thanks

Is the box sitting level? You may need to have the slides warranted. Kr791 was the top box made for that bottom.

Yea it is level, I may make some square boxes out of angle iron to put the two front wheels in so the front sits slightly higher.

Assuming your slides are the same as the ones that come on today's boxes, there are 2 pieces of rubber on each. One at the rear provides friction to keep drawers closed. The other drags the middle piece of the slide out so the drawer is supported better.

Make sure the rear piece of rubber is not worn out. They're available separately, in standard as well has harder and softer versions.
