Just came accros what I think is a good deal. Its a kr660 and kr 690, both in good-very good shape. What should I expect to pay for this combo, market value. Thanks.

Market value and personal value are two different things. :D

If someone considers that box to be one of the best boxes of all time, they're gonna pay more than market value. What I'd pay for that box being that it's one of my most favorite boxes of all time - is probably way more than what the other guys would pay. They don't make them like that no more.

How does 1500 sound? Is that high/low. Anyone here, jump in line for that price. I really do love the layout of the box, real simple. Thanks for ur input.

I like them box's too, if I was not like I am now. If I had the money and with the economy I would take 1k cash & flash it. Maybe I am just too tight? Others will chime in and let you know.

I would say the bottom is worth $600 to $800 all day long in good shape. Combo I would say $1200 to $1400, although $1500 would still be fair. The only thing with those boxes are they are only 21" deep. In my opion that hurts their value, 24" 761 combos have been around long enough to be found in that price range too. That said, for a home garage where space is on the tighter said, there is noting wrong with shallow and those are taller then a KRL 761.

I just picked up the same set, for $700, with a full rail of S/O 1/2 drive std shallow sockets. It looks better now, warr slides, and sticker removal, it does have some paint loss. I am pretty happy with the layout, and quality of the box. I miss my KRL1001 though.

The box might be had for less the 1500. Unfortunately the wife says I have to either resale this box or sell the kr761 I bought a few weeks ago. Decisions. I like the layout of this one but I definetly like the mobility and workspace on the 761. Is there some meat left on the bone if I get this box for 11-1200?

After reading ur opinions the chest is probly 900 and the top about 400 realistic values.
