I needed a box for some over flow and loose items.

I Bought a beat up ol' red box from a guy that had retired it a few years back. It was just collecting dust and I got it for less...... than a song.

After a good pressure washer steam bath, some magical stamping appeared on the back of the box, Snap On tools Kenosha, Wisconsin "74" KRA 56B:shocking:

Here it is with some of my tools nestled in its embrace. I just might paint the thing later......SCORE:thumbup:

Nice box. I have one that's closely related "born" the same year. KRA-59B. Solidly built.

Hope it was super cheap if all those front parts are missing. They are a nice size box, I like the somewhat uncommon deep top till.

Hey Zk, what's missing? I have one just like it only slightly taller with 2 top rows of small drawers and it looks exactly like his.

The badge, front handle, lock bar and lock cylinder. IDK if he just took them out for cleaning or if they were missing from the box when purchased. Hence my IF comment.

Ah roger........I thought you were referring to draw trim and that type of thing. Many, Many of those old boxes are missing that HW. At least, that's what I've found.

It was cheap.... 20 clams.

No emblem, lock stuffs vanished long ago, handle busted then removed. It served as a 'back of pick up tool box' for a long time.

Top till has got my CP134H in it, yes it is nice and deep.
