Found this odd looking snap on box at a moving sale today. Girl said her father bought it new in 64, was a carb rebuilder. Have not seen one like it before....

Snap On calls it a modern design of convenience in their 1965 catalog. I've never seen one before either. I would have guessed 1970s if I ran across this. Nice grab!

Date stamp is 64. I initially thought 70s as well but has old style chrome emblems which I found in a drawer.

Lid was cracked (welded it), missing one emblem and no keys. Otherwise drawers and slides ok, casters still rolling. May be missing some side handles.

Saw the crane cams thread. That box looked new. Also had the optional drawer section. It's inspiring me to paint this thing.

Very nice OTG. Don't run across them very often. I've got the same setup from either 67 or 69 ,I don't remember. I have never seen another besides mine in person but have seen pics of 4 or 5 different one yours makes 6.

The bottom is a 64, top must have been added later as it is a 68

Your set is symmetrical right and left (same amount of drawers),which makes it even better in my eyes

Now to make it a challenge: they made a mid box as well. I will try to keep an eye for one...

I do not see this boxes in MA. I saw one in Syracuse NY around a year ago, but did not have a way to bring it home... Great find!!!
