Anybody had the smaller KRBC10 blue point cart, or its equivalent the HF 5 drawer and moved up to a KRSC326?? Was it worth it? I work in a small 4 bay shop, and half of it is for the tire techs... I need to move up to a bigger cart to replace my blue point, but am unsure if the 326 is all that much bigger, or if I would be better off going for a KRSC46 or 416... opinions?

i just moved from a hf 5 drawer that was way over full to a krsc43. i had snap on put 2 2" drawers in place of one of the 4" drawers for a little extra space. i really like the extra room and its so much easier to roll around than the little harbor freight box. no regrets here and i would say its a good upgrade

I moved from a cheap branded 4 drawer cart with the same layout as the red one you posted. I went krsc 46........ It holds a TON of stuff.......but for the shops I have used it in, its a little big. Quality wise its great......just a bit big for easy moving between hoists, cars, coworkers, etc. I wont go back, but I cant help but wonder if the 36 would have been better for me. If I could go back I would have made a cardboard or wood box and hooked to my existing cart and move it around on a busy day. It sounds xumb, but the convienence of more tools mobile can be negated by increased footprint. My cart gets in my way, and my coworkers way. Thank god my coworker is easy going and does not care about the minor inconvienence. Some guys are not so nice. Dont worry about the weight, the overall foot print is the killer of carts convience. The snap on carts will take the weight and roll fine, but the overall size of the 46 makes me wish I went smaller some days. I share 3 bays of 2 posts with room for another car behind each hoist, and we also share the alignment bay. The layout of our shop is tight, the hoists are all angled and staggered just to fit them all in. Your shop may have more room. Just think about where you like your cart when your working, then see how much room you have left to lay parts around, walk around, and let other people get around. Dont let having the biggest cart cloud your judgememt like it did me. It still is nice, but for me it was a 1800.00 upgrade that might have slowed me down a step or 2.

Thanks for the opinions. I'm thinking about the 416 because of the sliding top. It's a small shop and because of that we work on the apron a lot. I have already added a craftsman 26" top box to the bottom of my current krbc10 and I still feel like I need some more storage (once the snap on bug bites you cant stop haha). One of my coworkers uses a kra4107 as a roll-to-car box and I'm jealous of his work top haha. Think as soon as I can I'm gonna pull the trigger on a 416. Thanks all
