I have a Kreg benchtop router table. The older version of this apparently. Mine has just a plate no insert rings, and did not come with a Kreg featherboard. I have a few other featherboards, Bosch Skil & HF that all seem to have slots for 1/4-20 bolts to fit in comfortably.
Anyone who has a Kreg fence I am assuming the slots are all the same dimensions. What size bolt do I need to attach a featherboard to the slots in the fence. I have a few carriage bolts but the heads are too wide. Before I grind them down if someone can tell me is it the specialized 'oval' T bolts it wants or is it just a different size carriage bolt than what I have?
I don't have any of it in front of me right now it's set up in a friend's shop waiting for the next rainy day to run some roundovers. Hoping I can get what I need together and bring it then. Thanks in advance.
