At least I THINK that's what the box is..... It's too damn heavy to try to pull away from the wall to be sure...

But anyway... I need a set of sliders for the top right drawer... I looked at numerous sliders and none have any part #'s
they only say accuride...

also I've looked at various youtube videos and haven't seen any sliders with a 1/4" screw in the front holding it into the box.

anyway.. after looking at the pics, If you have any recommendations... I'd appreciate it.

Contact Accu Ride?
Not yet.

Kind of surprised nobody knows where to get replacement slides for this box.

all the slides on it are accuride so I find it hard to believe they were all replaced..

Most of the threads about snap-on slides they all have #'s stamped on them.

Maybe I have a Unicorn box...

I see a partial stamping under the logo, are you sure there isn't a series or PN?

Accuride was probably the OEM supplier to whoever made the box for Snap-on. They May have been a custom size for that box, or so early in Accuride’s production that they hadn’t started marking sizes, don’t really know. Seen a lot of Accuride slide in toolboxes on here.

Contact Snapon as those should be lifetime warranty.
Thanks yes I just sent them an e-mail and will call when they open.

How does Snap-on handle warranties... Do you have to be the original owner with a proof of purchase etc etc?

I got this box in a swap years ago but the previous owner bought it new...

Well, Snap-on says the part # for the drawer slides for KRL1003 is 8-05388ALRMS BALL BEARING SLIDE PAIR, L & R
but are Obsolete.

I've seen them on Ebay for $130.00

Accuride says...
The slide in the pictures is a custom made slide, you can tell because of the mounting tabs, and to get an exact slide replacement you will have to contact tool box manufacture.

Thank you,

Accuride Web Support Team

funny though...
I got another email from accuride later with this info..

On a side note, if we don't have direct replacements, you may want to consider riveting standard drawer slides (such as our 3832) into your toolbox. The reason I say this is because the pocket and bayonet slides we currently sell are very likely not to fit in your current mounting holes.

Thank you,

Accuride Web Support Team

#3832 Looks like what I need.
easy install.

I was ready to order the 3832 accurides for $21.00 a set but the shipping was $30.00

I opted for an identical (so it seems) Amazon slider.... with free shipping..

supposed to come today... so I'll report back.

"check Ebay for new old stock"

Back in action... The Amazon sliders worked just fine.
I used 1/4" self tapping screws on the box and rivets on the drawer.

speaking of sliders, I was able to salvage the right side old slider....
cleaned it up and relubed everything.

the bad one I believe can be saved also.... if I find the right sized BB's

I was a bit ham fisted and pissed when I took it off the box.... bb's went flying and bent the inner sheet metal keeper..

But there is not much to these things after getting my hands dirty.

the plastic clips that hold the drawer in are easy to break though
