Sounds like a reasonably good deal. Also seconding the request for pics; sounds like a pretty neat looking box.

Well being that a new KRL 7022 is currently running about $7K I would say it is a hell of a deal! Especially if the box is indeed new.

Is there any paper work on it? Maybe a receipt showing purchase date? And yes pictures would help also...

Yes it is indeed new, it is still on his truck as he uses it to keep paperwork etc.. on it.

Jastech, that appears to be an identical box.

Yeah those retiring truck filing cabinets are usually sold for a kick *** deal. Especially when the new kid in town needs to be brought on the truck for advertising.

I'd say go for it. You can't beat the strength of a KRL

7k if you're a sucker. Plenty of people here have scored that box for ~3-3.5k without trade-in during a "promo".

Honestly i'd go for $2800 with the HF boxes but maybe snap-on charges some obscene money for the carbon fibre addon that the OP cares about. Personally i wouldnt care. HF boxes, assuming well cared for, could be flipped easily for $500-$600 + the cart, seems so/so to me.

True. Although it amazes me how many people will pay that for a box these days. I love seeing these rookies that come on the truck and try for a 7K or even an 11K box and can only afford to pay around $25 a week.

There is no way in hell I would pay that for a new box. Not with all the deals going on almost everywhere you look now a days. $3K for that box with the HF trade in is not a bad buy.

Don't know if you are an auto mechanic, but one caveat is that where I used to work the lifts were close to the wall. With even a full size sedan, with a drawer all the way out it touched the car's bumper. Deep box, 29.25" I believe. If that's no problem, go for it!

Got my KRL7022 new for $3600 & considered that a great deal. If you have enough room for this box, go for it & congratulations in advance!
