KRL 761 and KRL 1012A side locker

Guys,

Would this combo work, I know the locker is deeper than the box but would it still bolt up to the box or would it not work at all.

the locker might sit on the floor. 6 inches in difference in the height of a 761 and a 1001 or 1022. I would measure first. also the lip on the locker might not fit inside the top lip of the 761. might have to modify it a little.
