okay fellas, in your opinion what is the true difference between these two quality modles of snap on boxes (KRL vs. KRA). Is it just trim and eye candy, or is it weight load and performace. Also I just ordered a new KRA 4114 top chest, can anyone tell me if they come with drawer liners or not?

Apart from a few feature differences and a bit heavier gauge steel, both carry SO's warranty. I believe the KRAs are made in Canada, unlike the KRLs, which are made in Algona, Iowa.

Pretty much any SO box comes with drawer liner, even SO tool carts.

KRLs are much heavier duty every way you slice it. Better variety of add-on's, too.

If I were going to buy a box for my house exclusively, it'd be a KRA. The master series just isn't needed at home.

Ball bearing slides such as the ones from Accuride are lubed with a low viscosity silicone grease such as Dow Corning #7.
