Krl722 value?

Local pawn shop has a couple larger truck boxes they are trying to get out of for space. The snappy and a Matco of unknown model. The Matco is pretty rough so I'm not interested. But the snap on in priced at 1600. I'd say good overall condition, few scratches and a small dent on bottom right drawer

FWIW, I'm hunting tools in pawn shops all the time. I can tell you that in the DC metro, they don't pay more than $500 for a box like that, regardless of condition. I wouldn't pay $1600 for it.........there's better deals out there you just have to be patient.

My local snap on guy offered me and brand new 722 with the black metal top for $3750

I think $1600 is a good deal on a 722. I've bought 2 between $1200-1600

1600 Seems awful strong..just last year at this time you could get one for a little over 2k new off the truck. Delivered to your door, brandy new...

Black. If it were green/orange/yellow/blue I'd pick it up just based off resale later.

Good overall condition. Drawers slide easy. Few scratches, most would probably buff out. Small ding on 1 bottom drawer

I got a Black 722 myself...
1600 is about a realistic resale value I'd say...so if you plan on reselling it, get it for less.

You would be suprised with the colored boxes...you may think they would resell better but I dont think it makes a difference $$ wise, if anything makes it harder to resell.
