Your thread subject states aerosol. Just so you know that eBay link you pasted is not for the aerosol version. Its just liquid in a can, no propellant.

As for its toxicity, look up the MSDS (material safety data safety sheet) if you're concerned. But its going to be the same as most of these penetrating oils. Don't eat it, drink it, try not to get it all over yourself, etc..

I get Kroil from Kroil, they do promo's from time to time cheap shipped. I have a bunch of sprays, use WD40 for junk tasks like cleaning, Marvel Mystery for lubricating, so I don't use a lot of any one type of penetrating oil.

The "try'um" deals directly from kano. Either from their website, or get on their mailing list. Every couple of months I get their newsletter, "Genuis at Work" which looks like some out of the 50's. I want to say the last time I bought some was a buy one, get one free 16.5oz cans for $18 shipped.

Yup. Get it directly from Kano.

Scroll a wee bit and click the "Risk Free Trial Offer".

Like many other awesome products, they're better at manufacturing than distribution. Don't let the eyesore web site bother you too much.

I've purchased quarts at the local oil distributor for a gun cleaning solution that the old benchrest guys use. Always get a good deal on the propellants when I do that. Unfortunately I do not really pay attention to the price simply because it works so well.

I've stopped using everything else, even at $14 a can at Napa. It's still worth it when a can lasts almost a year. You don't need nearly as much to loosen things up as you do with PB Blaster.

I buy their stuff directly from them. It seems pricey, but for me it works better than anything else and is worth it. I have cans all over the place, within reach, use it all the time. I got hooked by taking advantage of their option to order one can each of several different products. They have graphite-infused Kroil as well as silicone-infused. Other stuff, too, some spray de-greaser. All of it works great.

Like most things if its difficult to get and expensive it must be good. They are not as poor marketers as you may think, got everyone spending 3 or 4 x for pen spray.

I've used Kroil for years. Got to say, 50/50 mix of ATF and Acetone works just as good for a fraction of the cost.

Kroil is expensive because a little bit goes a LONG way.

I've tried the ATF/acetone mix and it was a miserable failure. The two wold not combine. It was like trying to mix oil and water. Shake it up and then within seconds the atf and acetone had completely separated out.

I like Kroil, its a good product and one thing that made it good was old cans seemed to go forever. It might work a bit better and even if its psychological it might be worth it.
The reason it lasts is that you use it sparingly since its expensive.
Where it is really good is lug nuts, any of these sprays really, I use liq wrench and some crc. The only one I don't care for is the Walmart and it could be just the appearance who knows but the **** is perfect for torqueing up bolts/nuts.

Napa had one that was similar and some of the off brands not tested seem to work. The farm store had a couple sup-er lubes that were about 50 cents more than wrench at the time (not the case today) but it was or is "oilier" like Kroil which is a good lubricant really than a penetrant.

Even 2x as good may be only subjective, difference between that and 10X as goold like light etc or the differenc3 between an SK and a Snapon? hahahaa but if there was a warranty for every can that didn't work or gets kicked over or broke/lost with the price it would help. I don't know what happened to the can but its a problem and the stuff can no longer be metered out.

I am a fleet person to some extent, don't notice much real difference and would trade 1 Kroil for 4 Liquid Wrench. Its a consumable like a glass cleaner or paper towels and a huge problem solver. Wrench has dominated now and price has went up a bit. I buy a few cans anywhere near 3 $ now and cases if its less. I get a little behind and its hard to catch up.

This is like grease rags, there is free cloth ec and you can wash coffee cups but the pre formulated stored product is worth its cost and a guy doesn't need to feel guilty about using some especially if it solves a proplem or acts as a protectant.
A good shot of it is great for keeping weather out, doesn't take but a second to spray, sheds a lot of water. Lasts a long time on chrome and doesn't really hurt seals. Beats cleaning.
We oil about every bolt we put together, I use as much for installation as removal and sometimes its not needed for removal if it was used during install. Lug nuts being one case and a major concern or issue.
It can be clean, a can of that nasty never seize last me a long time, it has its place but its not on lugs as a whole.
It really aint my concept but the light oil lets the bolt turn so it doesn't stick when you tighten it.

Just ordered. But weird thing is it didn't give me a subtotal nor an email confirmation?

That's the way it was for me on my last order. I didn't get an email from them until after I received my order (AeroKroil 16.5oz & free Microil deal). The email was the receipt. no shipping notification or anything, just showed up one day (well I get notifications from UPS). Shipping was not the fastest, seemed like they take a couple of days or so to process the order. Absolutely worth it though, I won't use anything else anymore.

cheapest place to get Kroil is the Kano-Kroil website - they usually have a deal going

easiest place to get Kroil is ebay - sellers Jesco Sales and Patriot Supply have pretty good deals, but nothing like you get direct from Kroil

Kroil is Ok and I'm sure it will work good in California.

Living in the rust belt of NY, Kroil vs 5-10 years of NY rust, the rust usually wins, even soaking the part for days.:dunno:

Maybe my mistake was not giving the item a rap or two. Read you should do this to break the rust bond to give the penetrant room to creep in.:dunno:

KANO isn't Amazon. Their Website ***** you never get a subtotal or Email confirmation but the stuff will arrive as expected and once you use it you will not care how badly their Website *****. One saved bolt and you'll know why they have been in business since the dawn of time.

For the stubborn rusted stuff, I use heat to allow the Kroil to seep in, let soak, reheat then attempt to break loose. Works almost all the time for me.

I am in the rust belt...upstate NY...kroil is the BEST penetrating oil ever! Has helped me get many rusted parts loose on many vehicles over the years. I would not use anything else.

I've used it on stuff that's been under water since WWII & didn't have any issues getting stuff to loosen up.

Kroil is made by Kano Labs. I buy it by the gallon directly from Kano labs and put it in a refillable aerosol can that you charge with compressed air.

Here is the Kano labs website. https://www.kanolabs.com/orders/order_kroil.shtml

Here is the refillable bottle . It's around $9 at Menards.

I do something similar. I buy a gallon of Kroil then use WD-40 sprayers because I can easily get them. Plain sprayers won't last.

I got the gallon of Kroil years ago at a NAPA at the coast where stuff gets rusty from the saltwater.

Kroil is better than WD or Wrench IMO. I recently mixed up some acetone/ATF as I saw a study someone did showing it was as good as Kroil. I will see.
