Looks like it's $12 plus $5.95 shipping for two cans now. No more free shipping.

If you are in the Houston area there is a guy that sells the small cans for $2- $3 a can at Cole's flea market on Telephone Rd. in Pearland. I've got a couple of cases stashed that I bought from him, two or three cans at a time.

Before stockpiling a bunch of Kroil, consider that it has a 2 year shelf life.

I wonder what shipping on the gallon can would be?

I picked up a Sure Shot type refillable spray cans specifically for this type of use.

Hmmm... I've got a gallon I've been using for the past decade... :headscrat

Call them and ask. They say after two years it begins to lose it's effectiveness.

I quit using it, they cheapened the cans it comes in. The stuff used to work good and come out a drop at a time if you wanted, now about half the cans from the last case I got didn't work good.

And I’m sure its just not possible that in the hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of cans they produced, you caught the tail end of a run that used some bad propellant.

I love it when people will have a single bad experience with a product they are otherwise completely happy with, and swear off the entire brand.

This may be true but have been using this stuff as well as others from the farm store called super penetrant where I wasn't it "oilier" than liquid wrench. 3$ a can and they work well as does the product. For a lot of general use we use Liq wrench, 2.25 a can.
If something is truly seized none of it works. the loosening and lubricating effect is what we are after as well as a solvent for rust and grease.
We spray everything on Assembly, all bolts and some things for rust, basically never seize for exhaust work, but the rest of it gets spray, both to prevent seizure and allow to torque on tightening and to reduce or prevent rust. Lots of it used to prevent sticking.
Kroil is the snapon of sprays, its highly marked up product. It works well but the quality of the container has went down, have gotten it from several vendor sources but the last deals where I had purchaced 100$ cases of the stuff was the end. I guess we were not using enough, now comes out of the can at times more like PB blaster, which we do use some when we spot a few cans on sale. Other products have improved, the cans are better, no one faints at a damaged can, can seed them where needed for under 3$, can be bought at will off the shelf.

The old thread comes back around. Kroil has had a better offer on two of the giant size cans.

When I called to order, I mentioned having a problem with a can not spraying. Order arrived with an extra can enclosed to replace the defective can. Tell me of another company that will do that.
