Krsc 246 locker addition

Hey all back on the forums again!! I’m wanting to add a locker and an end cabinet to my krsc 246 which is 46” wide and 24” deep! The kra 2406 end cabinet and the kra 2403 locker is what I am interested in!

My snap on guy is saying only the 19” deep classic series will work for me? I’d like to keep the full depth of 24” to match the box! Does anyone have experience doing something like this? Thanks

Isn't a 246 20" deep?

I talked to my rep about hang-on stuff, he implied while it can be done the shell of a cart isn't really designed for that sort of load. I think you're supposed to buy a slots/dots panel and then hand whatever off of that. But that isn't a ton of surface area.

My cart is definitely 24” deep that’s why I’m after the classic series adons vs the heritage series! Another thing I note is the add ons I’m looking into have their own castors for support where the heritage rely solely on the cart to hold the weight!! I’m not 100% sure how they mount either? My box has the handle holes as well as two threaded inserts in closer!

I mounted a 20” cabinet to my 20” deep cart. Then mounted a pry bar rack and creeper mount to the cabinet. 5 years no problems.

I used a slotted panel from Snap on to mount the cabinet. KRSC mod thread on here shows the panel. Made a spacer from 1/4 plywood to go behind pry bar rack. Pretty sure I used existing holes in cabinet to mount everything.

So is that all mounted on a krsc46? I’m specifically looking for mounting stuff on the krsc246 which is 24” deep idk if the slots and dots panel is compatible with both versions or not? Wish Snapon make it more clear how this type of stuff mounts!!

Mine is a KRSC430 The panel hooks under the bottom and is bolted on through the handle mounting holes.
