KTI-70081 Flaring Tool

Hello,
As much as I love the traditional flaring kits, I have been in the market for an easier tool. MAC and Mastercool advertise the hydraulic ones and there are both good and bad reviews on each.

Ran across this tool KTI-70081 Flaring Tool on Ebay and done some research. Sells for circa $228. Emailed company who informed me it is made in Taiwan (surprise) but does carry a lifetime warranty.

You get what you pay for and I don't mind forking over money, when I'm relatively certain it will be the last time I buy that tool.

Anyone have experience with this animal (KTI-70081)?

I bought that same tool through Eastwood years ago and have never looked back. Makes beautiful flares every time, even with the Cunifer brake line which can be difficult sometimes with traditional flaring tools. Mine is also made in Taiwan and is a very well built high quality unit. It's simple, quick, reliable and I would buy another one without hesitation if something ever happens to mine. Plus you can also buy the 37 degree flare die kit and make flares that will connect to AN fittings and has worked beautifully on more than a few project cars that had custom plumbing.

I have the sur&r kit which is the same thing. Works good.

I love mine and actually look Foward to brake line jobs now.

I just made some s-lines for my Willys jeep (these can be a pain to make).
