I ordered a couple of Lithonia LED shop lights from Zoro on Monday which were shipped same day and out for delivery to my address the next day (!). That's with free ground shipping. All shipping info on the email correspondence they sent was correct. Well, yesterday came and went and no lights. I checked the UPS tracking info and it showed they had been delivered around noon somewhere besides my house.
Meanwhile, I called UPS and they told me it had been shipped to my previous address. I shot an email off the Zoro Customer Service after hours and related the problem to them. This morning, Jennifer called me first thing from CS and already had the answer. I had updated my address which showed up correctly on their end. Problem was, it never made it to their warehouse, an admittedly known glitch only with UPS shipments.
Jennifer apologized for their mistake and already had two more lights on the loading dock, no charge, to ship out. (The recipient of the first two had UPS send them back). I told her I had found out about Zoro through the GJ Web site and that their marketing folks ought to check it out sometime. GJ'ers have had good things to say about their company.
This was my fourth order with Zoro and they've got me for a long haul customer.
