My old, STANLEY FATMAX TAPE MEASURE broke last Friday afternoon , I went to lock the blade, and the thumb slide pad broke off… just my luck, my best (and favorite) tape measure… On a lark, I checked the STANLEY website and found a “Chat” button and figured what the heck, can’t hurt… filled out their form, explained my problem… that was Sat. Morning. Within a few hours I had an auto response that my message had been received. I truthfully didn’t expect anything more till next week at the earliest… BUT… This morning, (SUNDAY) I had a message in my inbox that a replacement had been ordered, and to expect delivery within two weeks!…
all this in less that 48 hours… AND A WEEKEND TO BOOT! Outstanding customer service.
If you are comparing products and one is a STANLEY, IMO , with this kind of customer service, you can’t go wrong …
