Ben, I got the message that the GoFundMe deal is off. The message says they are on the way, your new website says "in stock". Which is it? I am ready to order, but am not crazy about back orders. Give us "would-be investors" a heads up.
Thanks, jp

I would also like to order one but would like to know the stock status before hand.

Thanks

In his first post on here he says "I am happy to say after years of struggles they are finally available, I have around 2000 of them in production due to be finished in late April.

Hello everyone,
Sorry I have been off for a while - as some of you know my website went screwy for a bit and it caused a lot of headaches - It's fixed now and all is good.

The Kwick Grippers are still on the way due to arrive in about a month- If you order now they will be shipped when they arrive - sorry about the confusion on the site with the "in stock" marking- that's where it defaults and nobody caught it in time

As an extra bonus to everyone who signed on with Gofundme and everyone on GJ - I'm giving you an extra 10% off the 20% pre-sale for a total of 30% off - just use the discount code "garage" when you order www.ebtoolcompany.com

I really appreciate all the help and support, I will probably be doing a more GJ specific discounts in the future too.
Thanks!

Mine came today. First impressions are good. Only test that really matters to me is actually using it. It will get tested well repairing pallets soon. The handle grip looks like it wont last forever, but thats not a huge concern to me.

Still waiting ... :(

(May 21, 2013) Got the KwickGripper today; does not look like the one in the video (fit and finish for the one in the video is nice). The finish is very rough, the lever that opens the jaws does not move smoothly and may come off easily. The tool DOES work (pulled a 3" nail out easily). Will post photos in the next few days.

Got mine a few days ago. I found that the lever moves easily once you know to pull "out"(away from the flt on the head) on it.

Now I just need to find something to pull.......

Hello All,

It's been a while since I logged on - Sorry for the wait, it was mostly due to customs problems that I had not for seen (My fault- sorry!) but has since been taken care of- Kwick Grippers now ship the same day they are ordered - use the code "15ben" to get 15% off for being on this thread- I really appreciate the support and interest in the project!

I would love to hear your feedback once you get a chance to use it and pull some nails out, I have a feeling that switch is going to be a headache and we will end up doing some revision on it from what I have heard already. They do loosen up as they get used, but I usually just leave it open myself -so mine is still stiff as well.

As for the Triple Lock socket I am pleased to announce that I have Licensed that out to a much larger company who I am sure everyone on here has heard of, however they asked that I not say who they are for now - Point being they will be for sale relatively soon as well.

Which brings me to my next question- Now I have this website up and running and we have pretty good traffic, I would like to help someone else get their tools on the market. Do you guys know of anyone else who is trying to break into the market with something innovative and different?

I almost forgot - we shot a new video-
This came about because of the beard I grow every year for hunting season, this year I didn't shave it until april (because it was still cold as heck here in WI) so we shot this Dos Equis parody for the Kwick Gripper for fun - hopefully we don't get sued!

If you are wondering I'm the fat guy with the beer playing the part of "Craftiest man in the world"! :) Thanks!

I like the crafty video, good tool geek stuff.

And I like my Kwik-gripper. I've used it to pull a few finish nails through a piece of trim, no effort, worked great.

As you've mentioned, the retainer switch is too tight, almost hurt my thumb getting it turned back. I doubt I'll ever close it.

Nice job, and good luck on your other endeavors.

Please keep us posted for the Triple Lock socket.

About the video. Where are the crafty ladies laughing with you at the end of the video?

Like lwlobo says "Good luck on your other endeavors".

Yeah the socket would have helped me out a few days ago with a snapped bolt I had. Hoping that it is available soon so I can add it to my tool collection :)

Finally got a chance to use my Kwick-Gripper over the weekend.

It worked well-I was using it to pull nails that were left from demolishing a shed roof, and I was on top of a rickety 8 foot ladder-the only thing I would say, is that it would be nice if the opening for nail heads was larger-there were a couple that I had to coax it over.
