I am selling my Kwik Lift. This thing is pretty awesome. It is a great sturdy ramp that can also be raised in the back and placed on four SOLID supports on the corners. It allows you to work safely and comfortably under your car or use it as long term storage/lift for a car project. I used it for a rebuild of a Datsun 260Z and loved having not to worry about working cramped and underneath jackstands that felt unsafe. This life gives you total safety. Also, another nice thing is that it raises the car up high enough to really let you get underneath the car and work from a comfortable position.
How you use it is easy, you adjust it out to the size of the vehicle it adjusts by removing 4 bolts and sliding the two pieces in and out of each other to adjust length, and then bolt it into place. Once you set it up though for you car once, you can pretty much leave it alone. Then after driving up on the lift, you use a jack on the back and raise the car up high enough for two legs to fall down and lock into place. You can get access to raising the cars wheels from the ramp as well. There is a cross bar that you can place a jack on for tire changes, brake work, suspension, etc. It's pretty versatile.
This Kwik Lift was also powder coated with "Brilliant Red". This gives it a great look, is easy to clean, and protects it from rust. Also, with the powder coating you won't chip and nick it like you would with paint.
I'm asking $1150 but would be willing to take trades. Mainly I am looking for a Jon or Bass boat with a running motor and a trailer. Let me know if your interested.
Also, since it can be taken down or apart relatively easily, you can store it off to the sides laid down or stacked one on top of the other.
