Picked a Kwiklift up a couple of weeks ago after trying to snag on on CL for the last year or two. They get snapped up the day they get listed around here. I spent Sunday putting it together and getting the car up on it.

Do any of you that have one have a suggestion for a floor jack that works well with it? My low profile jacks lack about 2 inches of lift and my high lift jack is too tall to go under the jacking pipe when it is all the way down. I'd like to find a single jack that works instead of having to jack it up, put blocks under it then switch to the hi-lift to be able to get it all the way up.

What's the height of the lift tube off the floor and what's the full height needed to be lifted to lower the legs? I have a couple of different brands of floor jacks I can check to see if they'd work. My jacks are 3 ton.

Edit: I just checked the 3 that I have and they all have saddles that are 5" and lift a little less than 20".

This should work....except the reviews are really bad.

Just had a kwiklift delivered on Friday myself ( they're back in business here locally). The arcan 3.5 ton sold here at the northern tool is perfect. It has a 21+" lift which is perfect for our kwiklift.

I plan on picking one of the Arcans up this weekend. Thanks.

Where did you get the Kwiklift?

Got mine directly from KWIKLIFT in 2006. I use the jack from Northern tool as well. I use 4x4's to lift 1 corner at a time to put on the dollys though. My standard jack is good for the rear cross tube but not enough for the dollys. I also added a steel shakle on the inside front so I can use a come-along to winch a non running car up. They also make great benches for yard sales....
